Chuck Berry
The Icefields Parkway Canada stretches between Jasper and Banff, cutting right through the mountains and nation park. It’s one of the most amazing sections of natural beauty I’ve seen. In the summer this place is teeming with life, hotels, camping grounds and enough tourists to fill them up. In the winter, pretty much everything along this route closes down, it’s a bit like driving through the set of the shinning, minus the axe wielding crazy murderer… You can drive for an hour or so and not see another human, that is until we saw this big yellow monster steaming down the road towards us. Inside the cab was this chap, Chuck Berry, born and raised in Jasper.
